JETRO
A para-government organization for the promotion of trade and investment between France and Japan, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is a non-profit organization under the supervision of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (the famous and all-powerful MITI) and created in 1958 to foster economic relations between Japan and the rest of the world. If you want to set up on the Japanese market, it is the JETRO that needs to be addressed. JETRO also exercises a representation activity for the Maghreb countries and Portugal and for a representation in Annex: NEXI (Nippon Export and Investment Insurance), partner of the Nippon credit and investment insurance companies.
