FÉDÉRATION POUR LA RECHERCHE SUR LE CERVEAU
This association, created in 2000 and recognized as being of general interest, supports medical research into brain-related diseases (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, etc.) by bringing together different disciplines, for example by combining basic and clinical research. To date, more than 200 projects have been completed. Projects are selected through calls for tender issued to all research units in France, whose applications are then evaluated and selected by a scientific council, itself composed of renowned researchers. To carry out this mission, the FRC organizes the Neurodon fundraising campaign throughout the year, the highlight of which is Brain Week in March.
