Church dedicated to Orthodox Christian worship, an astonishing religious monument located in Paris.

Just a stone's throw from Parc Monceau stands this cathedral dedicated to the Orthodox Christian faith. It owes its name to a 13th-century Russian national hero, who drove the Swedes and the Teutonic Knights out of his country. Consecrated in 1861, the cathedral is topped by five bulbous turrets in the traditional shape of a Greek cross. For the record, Picasso's first marriage there was to the daughter of an imperial army officer.

un petit coin de Russie près de Monceau
Monument magnifique à visiter après le parc Monceau. Le dimanche après-midi, vous pouvez assister à une messe.
Beautiful cathedral, which is worth a visit, to appreciate the style or simply discovering the restoration made on the cathedral.
Very pretty Saint-Alexandre Nevski cathedral pays tribute to a Russian large figure of the 13th century. Built of stone, its pyramidal forms are those of
churches in the north of Russia, the regions of Vologda, the White sea. It is well worth a visit.
do not hesitate to cross the gates of this cathedral which was recently restored! You enter a magical place or all will take you to relaxation and why not prayer: icons, candles, meditation... and return during an desk for Christmas or better at Easter!
