MARCHÉ AGUESSEAU
Crushed by the imposing colonnade of the Madeleine church, it is probably the smallest market in Paris with about sixty linear meters. A few years ago, it almost disappeared, but it was saved in extremis, and its incongruous side gives it a certain charm. Of course, with a very limited offer (only a few stalls), it does not allow for price comparisons and competition. The cheesemonger is also a poulterer, and the baker is remarkable for his "fancy" breads. A small detour is deserved. Note that a parking lot is located just below the stalls, which is convenient - beware, it is still expensive.
