DU BOUT DU MONDE
This huge furniture shop and the art of living have a name that is very worthy of it: Once the threshold has been crossed, it is truly «From the end of the world», or more precisely in a universe where beauty and refinement have their place. On the ground floor, a small set-up with the Chesterfield style sofas, beautiful and comfortable cognac leather, lanterns with tanned ribbons reminiscent of horse riding, laid on low tables of style, a bouquet of dried flowers, Ralph Lauren candles… We climb fast on the floor with a sumptuous wooden staircase, to arrive in a thread of spaces on several levels, each offering a universe: there is a living room whose huge library and dining room recalls the great hours of Gustavien style, cérusé wood and pale blue, with an amazing dinner: Aged, aged,… chandeliers, cheap, cheap, plates and cutlery… Further, it melts in crapaudines of pink or purple velvet, the eyes lifted on huge Murano glass chandeliers or wrought iron, one caresse a embroidered coussin, one hesitates in front of a sculpted lamp, one dreams of seeing consoles and commodes at home… all manufactured by craftsmen'from the end of the world, these marvels, sometimes unique pieces, at prices high, fill houses with a number of square meters. But we can leave with some decorative simplest at affordable prices.
