Restaurant in a New York loft setting in Paris.
In a New York loft decor, everything in blue and long, revised by small Chinese touches, you can settle on large tables decorated with pretty tailor-made plates created for the restaurant. Avoid wooden benches as they are a little stiff for the back... This Yoom was born from the imagination of two boys who brought back the dim sum from their travels. The dim sum are small Chinese appetizers consumed during the tea ceremony (yum’cha). On the first page of the menu, they explain us that, historically, the dim sum were "served to travellers on the silk road" accompanied by tea. Here, flavours are attractive and the combination of spices and ingredients is perfect. If you can't escape from the ravioli with shrimps, there are bonuses: beef with ginger or red curry, chicken with tamarind or grilled peanuts, turkey, pork with honey and spices. It's a pity that the room is a little bit noisy.

Dumplings were tasty and done on the fly as we ordered. Soup/Beef dumpling were #1; vegetarian options and originals like the chicken curry were also 10/10
Staff is friendly and here to help - I can imagine it can get busy at which point service may take longer - for us it was relatively quick (with about 6-7 tables occupied). It had a relaxed vibe that went well with the on tap beer and the chilled dinner with mates!
