Iranian restaurant in Paris offering Indian and Iranian specialties, cold buffet and hot dishes.
K'si is a story of 2 Sri Lankan brothers who discovered the Iranian cuisine through their father who worked in an Iranian restaurant... They decided, then, to open an Indian and Iranian specialties restaurant. Does that seem far-fetched? And yet, it is really a success! In a setting with contemporary decor and intimate style, the concept is simple: you can have a self-service buffet of starters and desserts. For the cold buffet, we recommend the very good homemade eggplant caviar and the creamy vegetable samosas, the Pathis (chicken-potato turnover), and the naans with cheese. For the hot dishes, we highly recommend the fondant tandoori chicken, the Joujeh kebab (lemon-saffron chicken) or the stewed veal shank, fine herbs and red beans and many vegetarian dishes. The lassis, the creamy yoghurt flavoured with fruits or salted are excellent. The address is a victim of its own success, so, it is wise to arrive early or to book if you want to find a place.
