Chef Philippe Baranes's unique establishment combines seasonal produce with traditional Italian cuisine

Combining seasonal produce with traditional Italian cuisine: this is the challenge taken up by chef Philippe Baranes, who offers marvellous dishes to savour with friends or family. The basis is the pasta, homemade and made on site every day: for example, gnocchetto with braised Treviso, or spaghetti pomodoro. The risotto, for its part, is cooked entirely on site, without pre-cooking, giving it all its flavour. Add to this a selection of meat and fish dishes, and you have one of the best Italian restaurants on the Right Bank.

Cuisine Italienne soignée, à la fois authentique et moderne, à base de produits de grande qualité.
Toutes les pâtes sont excellentes, les desserts sont délicieux.
Enfin , l’accueil est chaleureux et dans un cadre vraiment agréable.
Je recommande vivement pour les amoureux de vraie cuisine Italienne.

My partner and I traveled to Paris for my birthday and we dined at Il Cuoco on our first night in the city. While we had anticipated sharing a few small plates and then one pasta, we were roundly told by the sommelier that no, we had to each get the lemon seafoam linguine that we were eyeing because it was that good. She was correct. We enjoyed immensely the roasted leeks, as well. We drank an absolutely delicious bottle of Marte Spumante (woman-owned, perfect!) at her suggestion and finished the night with complementary limoncello. The dining experience was vivacious, sharp, and memorable. Merci beaucoup!

Excellent restaurant, pour lequel mieux vaut réserver. La cuisine est tout simplement divine, l’ambiance décontractée et festive et la sommelière italiennes est tout simplement géniale: super accueil, super attitude, super sourire… et supers conseils! Je recommande vivement
