Restaurant offering vegetarian dishes with oriental music.
Sizin means "at home" in Turkish, and actually, it feels like home here. Erdal Kilic, the owner, welcomes customers and ensures the good progress of the meals. The waiters just like him are friendly, cheerful and efficient. Sit in one of two small dining rooms in white and pale pink, lit by discreet oriental lamps and decorated with memories of Anatolia or pictures of Istanbul. Tablecloths at dinner time replace the lunch paper cloths. On the backdrop of mesmerizing oriental music, you can savour the ezme salata (crushed tomatoes with garlic and olive oil), the maummara (chili, nuts, oriental spices), the patlican ezme (eggplant caviar) or the borek (flaky feta cheese pastry). As main course, lamb with honey and spices is the chef's speciality, but we do not forget the grills with the Surprise du Seç (minced meat, grated cheese, eggplant caviar, tomato sauce) or Bagdat kebab (lamb skewer, eggplant, mint). There are even vegetarian dishes like dolma (pepper stuffed with rice, minced meat, yoghurt). Sizin is available in two other places in Paris with the same quality.
