CAFFÈ JADIS
Italian restaurant in Paris offering fresh market and homemade products, fish, meat and a burger.
In a retro setting with black and white portrait photos on the wall, Caffè Jadis is aptly named. But why the 2 "f" in café? Simply because for a long time it had long been an Italian restaurant that was here… But the cuisine you will be served at Caffè Jadis has nothing to do with the Italian boot, it is France that will creatively break into your plate. The products are fresh from the market and everything is homemade (it is written in large letters on the board menu). The menus change the seasons but, in summer, you can surely enjoy, like us, the croustillon de chèvre with peaches and acacia honey, on a salad bed, and then the cod back caramelised with soya. Or, for gourmet people, the incredible burger with foie gras and French fries cut with knife. For dessert, the Amandine pear pie and the basil vanilla panna cotta with orange coulis will equally delight you. You quickly understand why the stage actors who play in the surrounding theatres are regulars here… The cheerful and attentive service adds a little more to the fact that you want to come back. And you will come back!
