GRAND CAFÉ CAPUCINES
Large café in Paris offering a menu of seafood, fish, duck and meats.
It is a pillar of the great boulevards, opened the same year (1875) as the inauguration of its illustrious neighbour, the Opéra Garnier. At the beginning of 2019, the Grand Café Capucines underwent a rejuvenation. Exit Art Nouveau. On the ground floor, the ceiling canopy has given way to a "wave" of metal slats. Customers now settle on blue or coral benches and seats. The menu still displays the essential brewery products (seafood, sole meunière, duck breast, entrecote...) which today mix with lobster served with chips, octopus carpaccio and fish & chips fried whiting. Like New York, the Grand Café Capucines "doesn't sleep".

Apreferable sea food restaurant in good location.
