Retro-chic bistro with a wooden bar offering bistronomic and gourmet dishes.
While Pantruche's decor is retro, the food served at this well-known Parisian fine dining establishment is very much in tune with the times. On a cloudy summer's day, you could choose between a starter of seared cuttlefish with bell pepper purée or confit pork with artichoke barigoule; for the main course, the chef proposed braised duck legs and stuffed saddle of lamb. And to round off the meal, a Grand Marnier soufflé or poached apricots with thyme crumble. Enticing, isn't it?

Depuis le temps c'est devenu une institution méritée.
Un bon moment qui réconforte les papilles. C'est beau et bon.
There is much better food to be found in Paris. Better to keep it classic than to make a failed attempt at creativity.
Advice: While everything has been perfect, the soufflé was just really really potent on alcohol. Tasted like you just drank three shots...
