THE CHESS HÔTEL * * * *
Hotel marked by French chic with classic and contemporary, clean design and comfortable rooms.
A pretty clay colour, a mustard color, three shades of blue: The Chess Hôtel is above all an original chromatic universe designed by Dorothée Boissier and Patrick Gilles. Everything changes from one floor to the other to sublimate the French chic in a marriage that unites the classic and contemporary. Each room is used as décor for exceptional furniture: suspensions, armchairs and even four-poster beds in the Deluxe category. The hotel also has outstanding ornamental details as the checkerboard that adorns the lobby floor and is miniaturized on the walls in the bathrooms. On the doors of these latter you will discover graphic designs of Cyprien Chabert who also creates the monumental fresco on the 2nd floor which runs to the hotel's roof. In the lobby there is also a work especially made by Victor Ash, an pionner urban artist of the street art in Europe. Great care has been brought into the bedrooms: oak parquet floors, mattresses and mattress pads for bedding, cotton satin sheets, bathrobes and slippers bathroom. Their refined design does not prevent them to provide you a great comfort. Each bathroom also has a rain shower.

There was a lack of spoons, bowls, glasses, plates at breakfast, very strange.
Breakfast still has to develop! mostly breakfast staff was extremely slow, often no plates and cutlery.
