Hotel on a strategic axis for shopping lovers where the rooms invite you to escape and travel to the sea.
Close to the major shops, Galeries Lafayette and the Haussmann Boulevard, the hotel de l'Océan Paris is located on a strategic axis that will delight shopping enthusiasts. The rooms invite to escape and travel with numerous reminders to the ocean: boat models, paintings, dominant blue… They are decorated in soft colors, suitable for rest. The beds, some of which can be more than 2 metres long, are equipped with duvets.

The Hotel is super well located, near both Lafayette and Gare du nord. The rooms are ideal for a short stay since they are quite small. Everything was very clean and with all the amenities one needs. Super nice and helpful staff as well!

Amazing 4-star hotel with super cozy rooms and great staff. I stayed pretty much at every hotel in the area and this is by far the best one.

We spent our honey and babymoon at Hotel Maison Mère and loved every minute of it! The room was spacious and so clean and we had the loveliest notes and balloons in our room. The bathroom was clean and i enjoyed the bathtub every night after long days of walking. Pute bliss! The Parisian breakfast that we ordered once to our room was delicious and so much for a very reasonable price! The mist comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in! Also, the hotel staff was incredibly nice and helpful and really made us feel at home. I‘ve visited Paris many many times and this was by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Highly recommend! Thank you fir making our honeymoon so memorable!!

Pros
-Close to a metro stop
-Quiet neighborhood
Cons
-No hot water, it’s lukewarm no matter what time you shower
-Not clean - so much random hair all over the place
-Mold in the bathroom
-Funny smell
-No place to put toiletries or your luggage, don’t mind a small room but this was hard to navigate
-The service wasn’t great, they told me to wait for my room and they’d let me know. They forgot about me and I had to ask again and they said my room was ready. So I was just sitting there after a long flight when I could have been in my room.
-The heat doesn’t work above a certain temperature. So if it’s a colder day or cold in the morning, you won’t be able to turn up the heat.
-Mattress is old and squishy
