In the heart of Paris, near the Gare du Nord and the Grands Boulevards, this hotel is "different". It is certainly different from the image you have of a hotel whose name is "La Tour d'Auvergne", since it breaks the image of the traditional hotel business to plunge us into a much more contemporary universe. A "design" hotel that has the good taste to offer us 24 "guest rooms", all personalized. High-end services and equipment for an address where every detail reinforces the beauty of the place. A Futé way to stay in Paris.

The hotel has a lift (very small), 24hr checkin and the room was fairly comfortable.
The problems we found were that the aircon didn’t work- we found this out only after we’d checked in and tried to turn it on. We got told it wasn’t working for the whole building that day, but I suspect it wasn’t working for a long time as it looked fairly dusty and untouched. The other odd thing (and maybe it’s a paris thing?) was that when we went out for dinner they wanted our key off us to then give back when we had finished. We gave it to them but for young female solo travelers I would warn against this.. it felt a bit odd and I’ve never had that happen before.
Otherwise the bathroom was well equipped and big for Europe, and the bed was okay. In summer with no aircon these rooms would be stuffy and small.
Staff seems nice enough though, but it’s definitely a budget place without a doubt.
