The Fédération des associations de conjoints survivants et parents orphelins (FAVEC) is the only association to have specifically defended the rights of surviving spouses since 1949. FAVEC welcomes, listens to, informs and supports widows, widowers and orphans, while defending their rights. It groups together 60 departmental associations and has more than 400 information points on widowhood and its consequences throughout France. Thanks to its extensive network, FAVEC offers invaluable, ongoing support to bereaved families, helping them to overcome this difficult ordeal.
