Church topped by a large belfry 65 meters high in Paris
Built during the Second Empire, between 1861 and 1867, to plans by architect Théodore Ballu, this church is inspired by both Gothic and Renaissance styles. It was built on the site of a cabaret known as "La grande pinte". Shaped like a belfry, its 65-meter-high bell tower is square at the base and octagonal at the top. Inside, you can admire a large organ by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll and a number of rather academic works of art. The church was not consecrated until 1913.

Bellissima chiesa cattolica realizzata a fine '800 sulla splendida piazza d'estienne d'orves, nel IX arrondisment. Attualmente sono in corso lavori di restauro e, purtroppo, le facciate sono avvolte da ponteggi e teli. Interno maestoso e ben illuminato da luce naturale. A pochi passi dai magazzini Lafayette e dall'Opera. Visita consigliata.

Est-ce normal que le culte musulman soit récité dans votre église ? Il y a-t-il échange de bon procédé avec une mosquée qui recevrai un culte chrétien pour qu'il vienne faire une messe ?
