Church topped by a large belfry 65 meters high in Paris
Built during the Second Empire, between 1861 and 1867, to plans by architect Théodore Ballu, this church is inspired by both Gothic and Renaissance styles. It was built on the site of a cabaret known as "La grande pinte". Shaped like a belfry, its 65-meter-high bell tower is square at the base and octagonal at the top. Inside, you can admire a large organ by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll and a number of rather academic works of art. The church was not consecrated until 1913.

L'église de la Trinité, sur la place d'Estienne d'Orves, est plutôt méconnue des touristes malgré sa grande taille et son décor somptueux du 19e siècle. Non loin de la gare Saint-Lazare et des grands boulevards commerciaux, la visite vaut la peine.
