OUR LADY OF LORETTO CHURCH
The church Notre-Dame-de-Lorette was built between 1823 and 1836 by the architect Hippolyte Lebas. Decorated with four corinthial columns surmounted by a triangular frontal, the building is neo-classical and evokes the Roman churches of the past. Inside, painted and sculpted works follow Italian Renaissance models. There is also an organ of Aristide Cavaillé-Coll here. Originally, the entrance to the building was to be found north of the building but, following the perimeter of Laffitte Street, the plan was reversed. The origin of his name comes from Mary's house in which, according to the Bible, she was visited by the Holy Spirit.
