VERDEAU PASSAGE
Go there and contact
With its high, fishbone-shaped glass roof, it offers an original and unusual place to visit Paris.
The Passage Verdeau - named after one of the promoters and shareholders of the Passage Jouffroy company - was opened in 1847. It was designed by the same architects as the Passage Jouffroy, and follows on from it and the Passage des Panoramas. More discreet and less prestigious, it has always suffered from comparisons with its neighbors. Nevertheless, its high, fishbone-shaped glass roof provides plenty of light. The opening of the Hôtel Drouot (1852) attracted numerous antique dealers, as well as stores selling old maps and books.
