Several cheese dairies have lined the rue des Martyrs, curiously all on the even side, on the right as you go up. This one, located in the lower part of the street, has been a good neighbourhood address since 1938. The queue is often long on Sunday mornings, so be patient. They always serve good cheeses, the great classics of the genre, most often quite well made. The selection is very much focused on goat's milk cheeses, but some good raw milk cheeses and other farmhouse specialities are well represented on the shelves.
