Since 1995, the Auberge Ganne has housed the museum's permanent collection of paintings and drawings by pre-impressionist artists. At the start of the tour, a video presents the history of Barbizon and the daily life of the painters at the inn. On the first floor, the various rooms and furnishings have been kept exactly as they were. The museum includes a second building: Théodore Rousseau's studio house, where temporary exhibitions are organized.

Opening time and information on MUSÉE DES PEINTRES DE BARBIZON
Closed on May 1st and from December 24th to January 1st. Open from Wednesday to Monday from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 5:30pm. Open until 6pm in July and August. Free of charge until 18 years old (and beneficiaries of social minima, job seekers, students, handicapped people and their companion). Adults : 6 €. Group (10 people): 4 €. Reduced rate 4 € (over 65 years old, young people from 18 to 25 years old). Tourism & Handicap label. Only the first floor rooms are accessible to wheelchair users. Guided tour (possible on reservation). Store.
