MUSÉE DES PEINTRES DE BARBIZON
The museum houses a collection of paintings and drawings by famous pre-impressionist artists like Camille Corot!
Since 1995, the Auberge Ganne has housed the museum's permanent collection of paintings and drawings by pre-impressionist artists. At the start of the tour, a video presents the history of Barbizon and the daily life of the painters at the inn. On the first floor, the various rooms and furnishings have been kept exactly as they were. The museum includes a second building: Théodore Rousseau's studio house, where temporary exhibitions are organized.
