Castle Hotel built on the foundations of a medieval fortress, with horseshoe-shaped staircase, woodwork library and park

Built in the late ^16th/early^17th century on the foundations of a medieval fortress, this brick and stone château imitates the Cheval Blanc courtyard of the Château de Fontainebleau, with its horseshoe-shaped staircases. Fallen from the Polish throne in 1725, Stanislas Leczinski found refuge here. Today, visitors can admire an ^18th-century library, late ^16th-century Flemish tapestries and a Swiss-German earthenware stove decorated with hunting scenes and allegories. In summer, the 40-hectare park is the perfect place for a stroll.

Visits possible all year round by appointment, for groups only. Group (30 people): €7 (languages available: English, French and Spanish). Self-guided tour of the grounds. Weekdays in July and September, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm. Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Adults: €5. Children aged 5 to 10: €3.

Château très sympa au milieu d'une jolie petite ville juste à côté de Fountainblu. Le château est très sympa et la famille qui le possède depuis 200 ans est toujours à la tête de l'entreprise. Le moteur autour du château est incroyable et vous aimerez les photos de l'intérieur et de l'extérieur de l'hôtel. Je recommande à la plupart des voyageurs de se rendre à Fountainblu. L'hôtel n'est certainement pas au centre de Fountainblu. Cependant, si vous voulez quelque chose à proximité qui est plus un château, c'est un endroit idéal.

Très belle demeure, la chambre Recamier est superbe et d'un très bon confort.
Ne pas manquer de se promener dans le parc où nous avons croisé des biches.

Très belle propriété entretenue. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil, la réactivité et les conseils du personnel et du propriétaire. Le petit-déjeuner pourrait être plus copieux (charcuterie, cappuccino, fruits...) cela reste bon. Il est préférable d'être en voiture car il est difficile de trouver un taxi.
Notre visite du domaine en vélo était agréable. Je recommande cette belle découverte.
