HOLY CROSS CHURCH
Church with three-aisled nave, semicircular chevet, interesting rooms and stalls
Probably built in the 10th century, Sainte-Croix, which became a collegiate church in the 12th century before becoming a church again, has been damaged and restored several times. It has an elongated floor plan, with a three-vessel nave complemented by side chapels and a semicircular apse. Interesting features include the stalls (wooden seats on either side of the choir), the rood screen (gallery separating the choir from the nave), the iconostasis (separation between the choir and the rest of the church), the organ (restored in 2019) and the baptismal font.
