NOTRE-DAME DE ROIBLAY CHAPEL
A place of devotion frequented since the early 13th c., dating back to the foundation of Roiblay in Champeaux.
The date of the foundation of Roiblay is unknown. Towards the end of the 12th century, it was already a priory and a place of devotion frequented from the beginning of the 13th century. A pilgrimage was organized there every year on September 8. In the 13th century, it was attached to the abbey of Jard. After 1789, a new chapel of 6 m long and 5 m wide was built on the site of the old building and dedicated to the Nativity of the Holy Virgin. It served as a burial place for the Maraise and Forestier families.
