SAINT-ANDRÉ CHURCH
Church of Gothic architecture with two lamp-posts, one of which represents a squatting man holding a tool in each hand
This church, mentioned as early as 1150, contains many treasures. Remodeled in the 18th century, its choir dates from the 13th and 15th centuries. Of Gothic architecture, it has two lamp-posts, one of which represents a crouching man holding a tool in each hand, and the other, a grinning head. Following the bombing of 1944, the stained glass windows were all redone. The shrine contains the remains of Saint Bathilde, founder of the abbey of Chelles, Saint Bertille, Saint Radegonde, Saint Eloi, Saint Genès and Saint Roch. One can also admire the statues and a painting of Saint Roch.
