If you're a green tourism enthusiast, from Donnemarie-Dontilly you can join the GR11, the famous path linking Montigny-Lencoup to Savins. Crossing the Montois region, it offers superb scenery and panoramic views over Donnemarie-Dontilly. For the casual walker, there are a number of other trails that take you around the village and surrounding villages, including the Chemin des Grottes. A map can be downloaded from the Mairie website. For experienced walkers, you'll need an IGN map (no. 2516E Série bleue) and a compass.
