This former grain market is sometimes converted into a contemporary art gallery.
As you stroll through the streets of Donnemarie-Dontilly, you're likely to come across the old "halle aux grains", more commonly known as the "grain market". Located at the crossroads of rue Marie-Chaubart and rue Cottereau, it stands out for its brick walls pierced by arcades and, above all, for its beautiful chestnut wood frame sheltered by a tiled roof. Built in the 19th century, it is now occasionally used as a contemporary art gallery. With its square floor plan and brickwork, it is typical of the architecture of the region.
