EPISY SWAMP
A marsh home to 223 plant species, 30 species of dragonflies, as well as numerous amphibians and migratory birds.
This corner of paradise, best known to birdwatchers, is well worth a visit from spring to autumn. Located in the heart of the Loing valley, it covers 44 hectares and is home to some 223 plant species, 30 species of dragonfly, and numerous amphibians and migratory or more sedentary birds. Once you've parked in the parking lot, part of the walk takes place on a pontoon just a few centimetres above the marsh, from which you can admire frogs and reeds. Bring along a good pair of binoculars or even a tripod-mounted spyglass.
