IRON CASTLE
Today, the château offers a wide range of luxury activities: gourmet catering, seminars, events...
The château theoretically opens its doors on Heritage Days, and is well worth a visit for its neo-Renaissance facades, its grand staircase (a copy of the one at London's Crystal Palace, designed by Joseph Paxton) and its absolutely splendid English-style park. This monument was built by Baron James de Rothschild on the site of the first château, which belonged to Fouché, Napoleon I's minister. Today, the château offers a wide range of luxury activities, including catering, seminars and the sale of handicrafts.
