With its rustic décor of an old inn and its large terrace overlooking the forest, the Croix d'Augas is a place that is as friendly in winter as it is in summer, located at the highest point of the Fontainebleau forest (144 metres). If you go there before nightfall, don't hesitate to go to the back of the inn where there is a cave called "la caverne d'Augas". Fondue lovers will be served, as the inn has made it its speciality: Savoyard, Burgundian and meat fondues are on the menu, as well as raclette, tartiflette and the famous oven-baked turnovers...

Dommage car lors de ma première venue mon ressenti était tout autre.
Si le personnel est à bout, des vacances seraient nécessaires...
Plusieurs personnes dans le groupe n'ont , par ailleurs, pas eu l'entrée ou le dessert commandé.
