This legendary festival is a must for jazz lovers, both for discovering new talent and for having a great time
In 1968, the Django Reinhardt Festival began on the Ile du Berceau in Samois. But in the '80s and '90s, the program became longer, more professional and richer, going far beyond gypsy jazz. After the floods of 2016, the festival moved to the Parc du Château de Fontainebleau. But purists rest assured, Samois still hosts the opening of the festival, with free concerts in the village square and the Samoreau campsite!
