A discovery trail in the heart of the Bassée Nature Reserve at Gouaix.
This trail is freely accessible from mid-March to mid-September, located in the heart of the Bassée Nature Reserve in Gouaix. Please note that it is closed for safety reasons during hunting periods. Along the 3.7 km trail, you will discover the most characteristic natural environments of the alluvial valley of the Bassée, as well as the fauna and flora they shelter. Three free tools are available to help you understand the richness of the natural heritage. A trail booklet giving you scientific and technical information on the natural environments and associated living beings. Panels located along the trail complete this approach to the environments, while being adapted to the whole family. Thanks to the Ecobalade application, the identification of animal and plant species is at your fingertips. Learn how to recognize more than 80 species, based on your observations and interests. Code flashes allow you to know everything about the stakes and the interest of this site at the European level. Two access paths to the discovery trail are proposed to you. A departure from Everly, at the water tower. Count 3 km of walk before reaching it. A start at the entrance of the hamlet of Neuvry. Count 1 km of walk before reaching it. Some parts can be wet and slippery, remember to wear good shoes. To observe the animals in the best possible conditions, be discreet, wear neutral coloured clothes and think about binoculars.
