State forest for walks or bike rides through the two forests of Jossigny
A 1,452-hectare state forest in the southern extension of the Ferrières forest. Walks and bike rides take you through both forests, from Jossigny to the Barrière-Noire pond. You may even spot deer and other wildlife. The Vincennes and Armainvilliers ponds are part of the Château d'Armainvilliers estate, owned by the King of Morocco, but cannot be visited. Only the GR14, which crosses the estate, offers a view. For further information, contact the ONF to obtain a map.
