THE CHURCH OF ST. PIERRE AND ST. PAUL
Church whose general architecture is revealing of the style of this period of transition between Gothic and Renaissance
The old church of Saint-Paul having burned down during the Hundred Years' War, it had to be rebuilt. The construction began around 1440, but was not completed until the beginning of the 16th century. The general architecture of the building is revealing of the style of this period of transition between Gothic and Renaissance. The interior of the church is particularly noteworthy for its 15th-century pedestal, 16th-century tomb and two impressive medieval shrines still in use today.
