An educational circuit, with explanatory panels, in a former millstone quarry.
Following an upgrade initiated by the Conseil Général de Seine-et-Marne and the municipality of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre, the circuit has been given a facelift. Now 1 km long and dedicated to millstone, it features 5 illustrated panels and steel silhouettes. Inaugurated in October 2023, it invites visitors to discover the life of an old quarry: trades, techniques, tools and working conditions. Note that the tour is available on the "Balade Branchée" mobile app.
