FORMER CHURCH OF SAINT-FURSY
Former church of Saint-Fursy with a café, classified as a historical monument, used as a hayloft and a bar-restaurant
Until the French Revolution, the church, with its Gothic architecture, was still very active. It was closed to worship in 1792 and destroyed in 1794. Ransacked, it was later used as a hayloft and then as a bar-restaurant. All that remained was the façade - restored in the 16th century - and part of the nave, which today houses a café overlooking Place de la Fontaine. In February 1982, the façade was listed as a Monument Historique.
