The creation of a performance hall and cultural space is always good news! Here's a new tool for artistic creation and dissemination. Opening in 2023, following a final phase of renovation work on the Ferme Communautaire, this cultural center is an ambitious, high-quality achievement. This space for creation, education and sharing is divided into several hubs dedicated to the performing arts, creation and programming. It's a privileged venue, magnificently equipped and dedicated to the creation and hosting of independent companies from the Paris region. It boasts a number of facilities: a performance hall with a capacity of 400 to 700 seats, a rehearsal hall, workshops for the construction of sets, props and costumes, sculpture and painting studios, an exhibition hall, etc. The inner courtyard can be used for open-air shows. This cultural space is characterized by its original and audacious programming for the general public, schoolchildren and young children, including international shows and contemporary dance. More specific orientations concern the arts and the disabled, the encounter between the visual arts and the performing arts, the street arts, not forgetting the contribution of artists in residence. This major cultural facility, on the scale of the Île-de-France region, will give the Val Briard a remarkable reputation.
