Many circus families are buried here. In 1897, Louise Baglioni decided to be buried where the gypsy group of which she was a member had stopped. Her father, the showman Jean-Baptiste Bouglione, joined her when he died in 1913. The cemetery thus became that of the famous circus family. The patriarchal chapel, adorned with two bronze lions, is one of the largest in the cemetery. The Bouglione family is not alone. In all, more than 25 circus families (Capello, Falck, Zavatta) have joined them.
