Parc des félins in Lumigny, to discover tigers, lions, cheetahs, jaguars and various rare species, to visit with your family.

It is the most visited site in the Val Briard and beyond, with more than 300,000 visitors per year. The Parc des Félins is located in the heart of a wooded area of about 100 hectares. It is home to 140 felines belonging to some thirty different species and subspecies: tigers, lions, cheetahs and jaguars, but also rare and little-known species such as margays, Asian golden cats, jaguarondis and fishing cats. Through 5 walking tours, we realize a real world tour of the felines since we discover the animals according to their continent of origin. Each season also offers a different discovery. Spring is the period of the courtship. Summer is more favorable to the observation of lemurs who love the heat and sunbathing. In autumn, the felines are more active. In winter, the trees having lost their leaves, the Siberian tigers and the snow leopards are much easier to observe. This is also the time of year when their coats are at their most beautiful. Due to the large size of the enclosures, some sightings require patience and repeated visits! And this is even more true depending on the time of the visit and the weather conditions. Also, it is necessary to bring a good pair of shoes, warm clothes (in winter), and why not come with a pair of binoculars, ideal for spotting certain felines in the most remote and vegetated areas. It is advisable to spend a day in the park and not to hesitate to hang around the enclosures in the early morning and late afternoon, when the animals are often the most active. Several attractions and animations are added around the feeding or the ethology of certain species. An ideal visit for the whole family, like a great walk in nature combined with a fascinating animal documentary. You will leave with beautiful images in your head and/or in your camera and a lot of knowledge about the life of felines. You can combine the visit of the Parc des Félins with the visit of the other animal park of Lumigny, just opposite, Terre de Singes. Half a day for one, half a day for the other. With a picnic or a snack in one of the parks' restaurants. The visit of each of these parks can be enough to fill your day!
