In Ormeaux, farm snails called gros gris are raised at the Joly Cagouille, which transforms them according to numerous recipes to be reheated, spread, eaten as an apéritif or as a dish, in a shell, in a puff pastry, every day or at Christmas. You can find them on local markets and fairs and directly at the farm, in a pretty little hut, where you can learn that snail slime is used in cosmetic products for its very beneficial properties!
