ST. STEPHEN'S CATHEDRAL OF MEAUX
Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Meaux, with its flamboyant tower housing a jewel of an organ built in 1627.
It is one of the 51 most beautiful cathedrals in France. Built over a period of 400 years between 1180 and 1540, it combines a variety of architectural styles, with three monumental portals and a wooden Black Tower housing the bells. The organ, built in 1627, is also a real gem. Renovation work on the north tower has enabled us to rediscover a fantastic medieval bestiary through its many sculptures, not always accessible to the eye.
