Cathédrale Saint-Etienne de Meaux, with its flamboyant tower housing a jewel of an organ built in 1627.
It is one of the 51 most beautiful cathedrals in France. Built over a period of 400 years, between 1180 and 1540, it combines a variety of architectural styles, with three monumental portals and a wooden Black Tower housing the bells. The organ, built in 1627, is also a real gem. Renovation work on the north tower has enabled us to rediscover a fantastic medieval bestiary through the many sculptures, not always accessible to the eye.

Worth a visit and look out for the headless statues on the door arches - courtesy of a Hugonot revolt in 17th Century.

Une très jolie et imposante cathédrale chargée d'histoire dans le centre de Meaux.
Visitable tous les jours de la semaine, la cathedrale offre une superbe architecture interne, extérieure, de tres beaux vitraux et une superbe orgue.
Un parking public est situé à 5mns à pied de la cathédrale.
Lors de la période de Noël, une belle crèche est installée en son cœur.
