All concrete, the construction of this museum in the middle of an oasis of greenery on the Rochers Verts massif, reminds us of the environment in which the last hunters of the region lived some 12,000 years ago. Didactic and interactive, it reveals the prehistory. Eight rooms show the evolution of the different periods, from the ancient Palaeolithic to the Carolingian era. Interesting and entertaining temporary exhibitions complete the scenography of this exceptional museum.

Opening time and information on MUSEUM OF PREHISTORY OF ÃŽLE-DE-FRANCE
Closed on January 1st, May 1st and December 25th. Open every day, except Wednesday morning and Saturday morning, from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 6pm (5.30pm in low season). Adult €5, senior, from 18 to 25 years old young people €3. Free for under 18-year-olds, beneficiaries of the social minimas, unemployed people, students, war victims, disabled people and their guide.
