Erik Schaix, an art lover, patron and collector, had the idea of opening the Galerie d'Es. A space dedicated to art in all its forms: Painting, sculpture, jewellery... Visitors will be able to discover very different works of medieval inspiration from all over the old city. The Galerie d'Es with its sober and modern decor surprises in the middle of the Place du Châtel. The exhibitions present renowned contemporary artists as well as jewellery, precious and semi-precious stones at very attractive prices. On the day of our visit, the works exhibited were unfortunately not very relevant and the selling prices were too high.
