Created by Snecma in 1985, this museum features a unique collection of over one hundred aircraft, rocket and helicopter engines. A chronological tour takes visitors from the first rotary star engines to today's powerful rocket engines. The visit is enriched by a spectacular display of the famous Gnome & Rhône motorcycles, films projected onto giant screens and a flight simulator. A museum not to be missed!

Open all year. Wednesday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm. Open the second and the last Saturday of the month, from 2pm to 5pm. Free. Guided tour (for groups by appointment).
Message from Management
The Safran Group's Aerospace Museum is located in a hangar, originally created to house seaplanes in the 1930s, in Réau. Here, you'll learn all about the history of the group's aerospace propulsion from 1905 to the present day. You'll see an impressive collection of airplane, helicopter and rocket engines. Landing gear, drones and other equipment are also on display. The house also houses a complete collection of Gnome and Rhone motorcycles. There's also an escape game to help you discover the world of aeronautics and space. And with its auditorium equipped with conference facilities, the museum offers an original space for hosting events such as seminars and conventions. The site is also accessible to people with reduced mobility, and its guides have undergone training to raise awareness of mental handicaps. Discover it for yourself!
