Museum run by the Maison d'Ecole association, a former hamlet school with an interwar classroom
In this former school in the hamlet of Pouilly-le-Fort, the Maison d'Ecole association runs this museum, a reminder of the schools of the 19th and 20th centuries. Everything here is authentic. The local inhabitants had a wonderful idea: to rebuild a classroom from the interwar period. They have recovered many objects and are continuing their research to complete the collection. Notebooks, ink and pen boxes, old books... and mannequins, schoolchildren and the teacher in their period smocks... an image of the school of yesteryear to discover.
