PUCES DE VANVES
Being the only flea-second-hand market in central Paris, the Vanves flea market has continued to move out of Paris due to the extension of the capital. It was finally in 1965 that the Vanves flea market definitely occupied a space on both avenues before even being twinned in 1987 with the famous Turin flea market. Less touristic and therefore more protected than other flea markets in the Paris region, you will absolutely find all sorts of things in these places from the ugliest to the most beautiful, from the most useful to the most superfluous furniture and objects of the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries, ironwork and tools, luminaries, tableware, glassware and silverware, old clothing and textiles, antique and costume jewellery, phonographs and radios, books and old papers, coins, medals, paintings, drawings and prints, photographs and postcards, various curiosities, toys and folk, art of all kinds, religious objects, art of the East, African art ... and many other things, the list is so long.
