FLYING SAUCER - THÉÂTRE DE LA COMMUNE
The restaurant of the théâtre de la Commune d'Aubervilliers, which opens for lunchtime on weekdays, is also open in the evening ahead of the performances. The place is certainly original with this blue on both the floor and the walls; this nice clarity is in contrast with the black of the chairs and the white of the tables. Note the excellent value for money of the whole, because here the cuisine is home-made and the chef Catherine André has contributed to bring a little inventiveness in all this. And it is rather successful, for example the filet mignon of pork with clams while we were there. Desserts are also delicious. Undeniably, it is one of the best spots in Aubervilliers, a few hundred meters from Parc de la Villette.
